Microsoft Mentoring Program in Computer Science

3 months

Mentorship

Tel Aviv

On June 13th, the mentoring program by the Ethiopian Women Empowerment Association in collaboration with Microsoft began. The program will run for about three months, during which 12 senior employees at Microsoft will mentor 12 computer science students from across the country.

The initiative aims to promote diversity and inclusion of Israeli women of Ethiopian descent in the high-tech industry. The students will have an opportunity to apply for student roles at the company, while the mentors will serve as a source of inspiration and a strong support network. Once the students graduate, the sky is the limit.

This Program was launched to support women in computer science, pairing them with a senior employee mentor for 3 months to gain guidance, inspiration, and high-tech opportunities.
