Our Vision

Our vision is to integrate Ethiopian women into key leadership roles in Israeli society, strengthening their status and advancing community resilience, equality, and economic empowerment through identity-building and support.

Our Activities

We believe in the strength, talent, and leadership of women in our community. Each year, our programs support more than 200 women through education, professional development, mentoring, and a strong network, providing the tools, opportunities, and connections they need to succeed and lead.

Our Impact

The journey of Ethiopian Women Empowering began in 2017 as a digital platform connecting women from the Ethiopian community. In 2020, it became a nonprofit, and today, with 30 local communities across Israel, it empowers women through support, opportunity, and lasting social impact.

Tekuye Melesse

Married and a mother of two, from Rehovot. Owner of Tekuye skincare clinic; leads a team of three employees, offers nutritional supplements and cosmetics, and gives lectures in both Hebrew and Amharic.
