Student Aid Fund by the Council for Higher Education

Eligibility Requirements:
Open to full-time students pursuing a bachelor's, second degree, or doctoral degree in medicine. Preference is given to residents of development towns, neighborhoods under rehabilitation, national priority areas, students with siblings under age 18, welfare service recipients, and those with medical disabilities.

Application Process:
Applicants must fill out a request form available for purchase at university campus bookstores. All required documents must be sent by registered mail only.

Eligibility Requirements:

Rosenberger Scholarship by ALEH Association

Eligibility Requirements:
Blind or visually impaired students holding a blind certificate, studying in the Faculty of Natural Sciences, at least in the second academic year of a bachelor’s degree, with a minimum grade average of 85, and under the age of 42.

IDF Disabled Veterans Fund

Eligibility Requirements:
Students who are IDF disabled veterans and members of the Disabled Veterans Organization, who do not receive funding from the Ministry of Defense. If only partial funding is received, applicants can request a scholarship to cover the difference. The scholarship is granted to students studying at higher education institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education and is awarded at the end of each academic year.

America-Israel Cultural Foundation – Sharett Scholarship Program

Eligibility Requirements:
Scholarships for outstanding students in all fields of the arts: music, dance, theater, film, visual arts (painting, sculpture, photography, multimedia), design, and architecture. Scholarships are awarded after passing evaluations conducted by the foundation. Some fields are tested only once every two years. A limited number of scholarships are available for second degree studies abroad (international scholarship).

Martin Gehl Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Requirements:
The fund supports students in financial need based on socioeconomic status. Any student may apply. The application must include a proof of enrollment and confirmation of tuition payment. Each application is reviewed individually by the scholarship committee.

Eli Gelfand Short Film Fund – by the Israeli Film Industry Association and the Fund for the Promotion of Israeli Cinema

Eligibility Requirements:
The scholarship is granted for the production of short films, either narrative or documentary (up to 62 minutes), that have not been produced or commissioned by any other institution or entity. Eligible applicants are Israeli residents over the age of 18 who have a prior directed work that demonstrates their capabilities. The scholarship is awarded to directors who are about to begin production or have already started, provided the film has not yet reached the sound mix stage. Scripts previously rejected by the fund may not be resubmitted.

Perach – National Mentoring Project in Collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture

Eligibility Requirements:

Mifal HaPais Scholarship

Offered by Mifal HaPais in partnership with the Fund for Discharged Soldiers. Around 7,000 scholarships are awarded, each worth 10,000 NIS. The scholarships are intended for discharged combat soldiers pursuing a bachelor's degree. They are granted from the first academic year for up to 6 years until degree completion.

Note:
Students who receive or have received a full scholarship from another source or more than 50% tuition coverage from any other fund are not eligible.

Eligibility Requirements:

Discharged soldiers who served in combat units and face economic or social challenges preventing them from pursuing higher education.

Full and proper completion of IDF or Border Police service (at least 36 months for men, 24 for women).

Served as combat soldiers or combat support during service.

Proof of acceptance to a recognized academic institution in Israel for a bachelor's degree.

Application must be submitted within 5 years from the end of military service.

Belong to at least one of the following groups: lone soldiers, Ethiopian or FSU immigrants, minorities, residents of development towns or underprivileged neighborhoods, or low socioeconomic status.
